Reeflections is one of those "niche" businesses that most Maui visitors will never use. That's because it's not intended for most Maui visitors. Reeflections was created for the Scuba Diver, or Scuba Diver Photographer, that wants something special. On a guided dive, this means privacy and the freedom to dive at your own pace and skill level. This is accomplished by a completely original model for a dive guide operation. With Reeflections, you never dive with strangers!

Reeflections also offers digital underwater photography workshops. Underwater photography is my passion. If it's yours too, we need to get together.

My name is Mike and I would like to welcome you to the Reeflections web site. I am an Underwater Photographer, Naturalist and PADI Divemaster that loves to help others discover the underwater magic of Maui. My business is small and my service is intimate. I want to be like an old dive buddy that lives on Maui and wants to show you the sites.Together, we can explore and photograph Maui underwater in a safe, non-intrusive way.

Bring home what you see!

If you are new or kinda new to UW photography, you may want to take advantage of my UW Digital Photo Workshops. I understand that many of our customers are just visiting Maui and time is important. With this in mind, I offer private workshops designed to make the most of your time. Classes may include a guided dive to practice what you have learned.

If you don't own a camera, you can rent a compact digital underwater camera/housing. If you have a camera and housing but want to try some accessories I might be able to help you with strobes or wetmate lenses. You can even test drive a Nikon D70 with various lenses. Check out the Gear section for all options.

Maybe you don't want to hassle with photos but want some to take home. That works too. I can take quality photos of your dive for you.

Dive your way!

You don't have to be a photographer to do a Private Photo Dive but if you are, you will especially appreciate the pace. Your pace exactly, because you set it! I specialize in taking you where there are seldom other divers to stir up the sand and look over your shoulder while you are trying to capture that perfect image. As your private Divemaster, I am there only to help you find subjects, and keep us safe. If we find an eel that you want to spend the entire dive with, I will patiently wait for you. It's your private dive. Your pace and your skill level.
